eReadingPro Donates eBooks to
Nairobi, Kenya in Africa!
The eReadingPro system of teaching children to read
will NOW be used at the Loving Concern Educational
Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The convenience of eBooks
has enabled the students at this
struggling primary school and
community based organization will be given an even
greater chance at success by learning English using
eReadingPro!eReadingPro is touching lives on every continent! We
have donated eBooks to The
Loving Concern Educational Centre.
This centre exists in the Mathare Slum and is known
as one of the worst slums in Africa.
The Centre is the only resource available to the
half a million people, supports over three hundred
students, and is run by the school’s principal,
Pastor Luke Wanayama, and his wife, Rose. It
represents hope, encouragement, and
support.
The goal of eReadingPro is to
enhance the lives of children living in this slum by
providing a reading program that is easy to follow
and effective. Learning to read is essential in
helping these children to grow their minds and reach
goals far beyond the Mathare Slum.
Project Chance Africa is a not for profit
organization that helps to raise money and awareness
about the Loving Concern Educational Centre. Their
goal is to assist the Loving Concern Educational
Centre in becoming a stronger community support for
the families of Mathare. It is through Project
Chance Africa, its founder, Suan Cross and a good
friend Milla Craig, that the connection was made
between eReadingPro and The Loving Concern
Educational Centre and we are very grateful to have
this opportunity. We will keep you posted regarding
the progress of the children using our program at
the Centre!
A Thank You Letter from Kenya, received June 24,
2008:
"Hi Denise,
Thank you for the eReading program. I am now
studying the program and by next week I will
introduce it in class and will let you know how we
are doing with it. I told the children about the
eReadingPro and they were very happy to know that
you are willing to help them learn through this
program. Thank you once again for for your concern
and willingness to join me in helping these children
in the Mathare slums to learn. This will bring a
great change in their life. Otherwise we are happy
to know you and we also welcome you to KENYA."
