Denise MacDonald is the President and Founder of eReadingPro, and was Co-Founder (and Originator) of the original Out of the Box Reading program.
As a result of her extensive background in administering psycho-educational assessments with young children in the school system, Denise became concerned about the growing number of students struggling with traditional educational methods.
In 2004, armed with both a clinical and real-life understanding of neuropsychology, Denise set out to make a difference. Through eReadingPro and her former company Out of the Box Reading, Denise is determined to give parents and educators the tools to assist individuals of all ages who may be struggling with reading.
Denise MacDonald presents workshops, consults and speaks at conferences internationally with a focus on how children who are visual learners learn to read - particularly children with Down syndrome. Recently, Denise has been a Canadian presenter at the Down Syndrome World Congress in Dublin, Ireland in 2009, as well as for the New Zealand Down Syndrome Association in 2011.
